Ride the line

Every language is a railway route. You start at the first station and work along it, one stop at a time, learning phrases you would really use.

Say it out loud

Bolo listens. Speak a phrase and you hear straight away what landed and what did not. Reading a language and speaking it are different skills.

Talk to a parrot

Bolo will happily talk about your day, the weather, or a pigeon he saw. He answers in the language you are learning, in its own alphabet.

A call from grandmother

Now and then your grandmother calls. She only speaks the language you are learning. You will manage.
